Troop 29 History

In 1924, Troop 29 was first chartered in Alta, Dutch Flat and Gold Run areas under Scoutmaster Raymond Graham.  During 1932 to 1949, the Troop was disbanded.  During 1949, Troop 29 became active in Rocklin and was sponsored by the Rocklin PTA.  In 1959, the Rocklin Lions Club assumed sponsorship and has remained as the Troop's benefactor.  The Troop met at the Finnish Temperance Hall from 1962-1994.  Troop 29 began meeting at the Rocklin Community Center in September, 1994.

Troop 29 has produced more that 100 Eagle Scouts.
